The Cliffs Cottage at Furman

Tours of The Cliffs Cottage at Furman started on June 14th 2008 and ran through September 4th, 2009

The home was dedicated as the new David E. Shi Center for Sustainability on March 2nd 2010.

The center coordinates Furman’s academic, co-curricular, research and community outreach activities related to sustainability, meant to ensure that the resources and opportunities of this generation are available to future ones through conservation and environmental stewardship.
